Nació en Perú y reside en West Hartford, CT. Es Profesora Asistente en el Departamento de Psiquiatría de la University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Ha trabajado en el sistema de justicia criminal y escuelas públicas con mujeres, niños, adolescentes y familias con múltiples eventos traumáticos. Aparte de publicaciones y presentaciones en trauma infantil y de adultos, ella es investigadora, psicoterapeuta, educadora, y supervisora de estudiantes de medicina, estudiantes clínicos y residentes de psiquiatría. Recibió su Asociado en Artes Liberales de Capital Community College, su Licenciatura en Neurociencia de Trinity College y su Maestría y Doctorado en Psicología Clínica de la University of Hartford.

Born in Peru and currently resides in West Hartford, CT. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Chang-Angulo has worked in the criminal justice system, public schools and outpatient settings with women, children, adolescents and families who experienced multiple traumatic events. Beyond her publications and presentations in the area of childhood and adult trauma, she is a researcher, psychotherapist, educator, and supervisor of medical students, clinical students and residents of psychiatry. She received her Associate’s in Liberal Arts from Capital Community College, her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at Trinity College and her Master of Arts and Clinical Psychology Doctorate degrees at the University of Hartford.
